SHIPPING POLICY

Welcome to shopping at the Verso Verde online store! We deliver our products reliably and safely throughout Finland in cooperation with Posti.

Because a large portion of our products consists of living plants, we pay special attention to packaging and shipping schedules to ensure that the plants arrive at their new home vibrant and in good condition.

1. SHIPPING METHODS AND RATES

We primarily use Posti's services to deliver shipments. You can choose the shipping method that best suits you at checkout:

  • Postipaketti (Posti Parcel to a pickup point or parcel locker): Delivery to your chosen Posti pickup point or parcel locker. The price is calculated at checkout based on the weight and size of the order.

  • Posti Kotipaketti (Posti Home Delivery): Posti will contact you to agree on a specific delivery time. This is especially recommended for large orders and delicate plants.

You will always see the exact shipping costs in your shopping cart before final confirmation and payment of your order.

2. HANDLING AND DELIVERY TIMES

  • Living plants: To guarantee the well-being of the plants, we only ship living plants at the beginning of the week (Monday through Wednesday). This ensures that delicate plants do not sit over the weekend in Posti's logistics centers or terminals. If you place your order after Wednesday, your plants will generally be shipped on the following Monday.

  • Other products and accessories: Orders are usually processed and shipped within 1–3 business days of the order. Posti's transit time is typically 1–3 business days.

3. IMPACT OF WEATHER CONDITIONS (WINTER SHIPPING)

Living plants are sensitive to extreme temperatures (sub-zero temperatures and severe heatwaves). We reserve the right to temporarily delay plant shipments if the weather forecast shows severe frost or an exceptional heatwave that would compromise the survival of the plants during transport. We will always notify the customer via email of any delays caused by the weather.

4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITY AND PICKING UP SHIPMENTS

Living plants require access to light and fresh air immediately upon arrival. It is the customer's responsibility to track the shipment code and pick up the package from the Posti pickup point or parcel locker as soon as possible after the arrival notification (preferably within 24 hours of arrival).

Verso Verde is not responsible for the deterioration of plant quality or the death of a plant if the package was not picked up promptly upon arrival, or if delivery was prevented due to a reason attributable to the customer (e.g., incorrect address information).

5. SHIPPING DAMAGES AND ISSUES

Check the condition of the shipment and the plants immediately upon receiving the package. If the product has been damaged during transport or the package is visibly damaged, please contact us immediately with a photograph at: info@versoverde.fi. We will do our best to resolve the situation in cooperation with Posti.
